Our company is founded by Dr. Jeffrey Wei and Dr Sarah Li. They are both western trained biomedical research scientists and renowned herbalists. Their solid scientific training and Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge guides our products development process with the consideration of how it will impact the entire human system in the broad scope as well as in the molecular and cellular levels. The products we designed are so well balanced, that patients will experience the maximum benefits with minimized undesired negative effects. Designed by biochemists and herbalists, our formulation is the hybrid of herbal formulation and western nutraceutical formulation for the highest potency. They are uniquely produced in capsule form, liquid form and paste forms. You may not find the exactly match of the formulation from other herbal formula suppliers.
Manufacturing Process Quality Standards
Our high quality, natural, herbal products are manufactured in our FDA licensed, cGMP compliant manufacturing facility located in Santa Clara, California. We embed the strictest quality and consistency standards in our manufacturing process. This allows us to attach our name to the product with pride.
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's) are regulations for the manufacture and sale of food, supplements, and pharmaceutical products, enforced by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Wei is subject to the Supplement cGMP standards for nutritional and herbal supplements (21 CFR Part 111). This includes:
Packaging: The herbal supplement must be packaged and labeled as specified in the master manufacturing record.
Ingredients: The manufacturers of all dietary ingredients used in the finished dietary supplements are required to follow cGMP standards for foods (21 CFR Part 117).
Quality: The regulations for dietary supplements require manufacturers ensure the identity, purity, quality, strength and composition of both their ingredients and their finished dietary supplements.
Hygienic Practices: The dietary supplement cGMP regulations include requirements for hygienic practices. This includes proper training of the personnel, cleaning of equipment, sanitation of the manufacturing plant, and in-process controls to ensure consistency of the product’s quality.
Our manufacturing process strictly follows cGMP standards to ensure that every finished product offers the same high efficacy and safety. Many aspects of our manufacturing practices far exceed the current FDA-enforced cGMP guidelines for dietary supplements.
High Quality Raw Herbal Materials
We are highly attentive to the safety and efficacy of our herbal ingredients in order to provide only premium quality products.
We work exclusively with FDA inspected vendors in the US that supply high quality raw materials according to industry standards. We also conduct our own auditing before selecting herbal ingredients.
After receiving the selected materials, our Quality Assurance (QA) department thoroughly inspects them to make sure they meet and exceed the most stringent criteria for efficacy and safety as specified by Chinese Materia Medica in Pharmacopoeia.

High Quality Manufacture Process
All raw herb ingredients are re-inspected before entering the manufacturing process. Each Individual raw herb then goes through a careful processing method that will optimize its maximum efficacy.
Each bottle of finished Wei product goes through a stringent sterilization process to make the final product microbial free, exceeding FDA standards. This process ensures that our products have long shelf lives without losing any of their effectiveness or potency and without the use of any preservatives.
